2018 lower Puna eruption
This was one of the most exciting parts of the vacation. We stayed in a Airbnb house in the Leilani Estates. The picture below was within walking distance. This was brand new earth just basically three years old at the time. The caldera that you see in the picture below is right in the middle of once a street dividing houses from left to right.
